PARTICIPANTS
The Hamilton Mill Member/Member is open to all male members of Hamilton Mill Golf Club that have an unrestricted full golf membership and have a current, active (prior to 9-15-2020) GHIN handicap. All participants must be at least 21 years old.
ENTRY FEE
The entry fee will be $40.00 per person for MGA members. For non-MGA members the entry fee will be $55.00 per person. Each participant is responsible for their own golf/cart fees. Entry fee includes:

Payout will be to no less than 40% of the field.

Payout will be for both Gross and Net. You can only win one.

Total size of the field will determine the number of places and amount paid out.

Payout will be in golf shop credit

Buffet lunch on Sunday
REGISTRATION

Registration will be done under EVENT SIGN-UP on the MGA website only.

Registration will open on or about Monday October 12, 2020.

Registration will close Sunday October 25, 2020 at 8 PM.

Cancellations after the close of registration will result in a charge of $40.00 to each person's HMGC account.

The total number of teams in the field must be evenly divisible by 2.

Field is limited to 56 teams.

Each player must sign up individually. In the comments section indicate who is your partner. You must sign up as a team. The tournament committee will not pair singles.

You must indicate which tees, Tournament or White, you will be playing from. Tournament tees will be the default tees if no tee is selected.
HANDICAPS
Handicap index will be based on the October 26th update from GHIN. Course handicaps have been established on your pre-selection of playing the TOURNAMENT TEES or the WHITE TEES. Participants 65+ years old may elect to play from the white tees. The default tee will be the tournament tee.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Every effort will be made to complete all 36 holes.
TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
The Tournament/Rules Committee comprised of Cliff Kofelt and Nate Whitt will settle all protests, appeals and make all decisions regarding the tournament. This committee will also determine any changes that need to be made to the tournament in the event of adverse weather conditions.
PACE OF PLAY
FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF ALL PLAYERS WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO YOUR PART TO HELP THE PACE OF PLAY DURING THE TOURNAMENT. THE EXPECTATION IS THAT EACH ROUND IS COMPLETED IN 4 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The event is a two-man team 36 hole Stroke play tournament.

USGA rules will govern all play except where local rules prevail.

Day 1 format will be Pinehurst Alternate Shot. Each player will drive and then select the best drive. The players whose drive was not chosen will hit the second shot and the team will alternate shots from that point until the ball is holed. Team handicaps will be based on 60% of the lowest handicap of the team and 40% of the highest handicap of the team.

Day 2 format will be Four Ball. Each player will receive 100% of their handicap.

Official score cards will be provided prior to play. The competitors will be responsible for the team's hole by hole score. SCORECARDS ARE TO BE SIGNED, ATTESTED AND TURNED IN AT THE SCOREBOARD AFTER THE COMPLETION OF EACH ROUND.

The team with the overall LOW NET score will be the Member/Member champions.
