THE GAME - THE LONE RANGER

  • Each team will consist of an A, B, C and D handicap player.  You must have an established GHIN handicap to participate. Teams will be made by the tournament committee.

  • Scoring - Team score will be lowest two scores of the foursome.  The "Lone Ranger" on each hole must be one of the scores counted.  Teams will decide who is Player 1, 2, 3 and 4.

    • Player 1 will be the "Lone Ranger" on holes 1, 5, 10, 15

    • Player 2 will be the "Lone Ranger" on holes 2, 7, 11, 17

    • Player 3 will be the "Lone Ranger" on holes 3, 8, 12, 14

    • Player 4 will be the "Lone Ranger" on holes 4, 6, 13, 16

    • There is no "Lone Ranger" on holes 9 & 18.  The two best scores of the foursome will count.

  • All putts must be HOLED OUT.

  • Maximum Strokes per Hole = 9

  • All ties will be decided by matching scores starting at 18th hole and going backwards.

  • In the event of inclement weather we will hold the event on the first available weekend date weather permitting.

  • USGA rules will govern all play.

  • Winter rules will apply for all shots played from your own fairway.

  • Play from the Tournament Tees.

  • Participants over the age of 65 may play from the White tees. 

  • PLEASE INDICATE WHICH TEES YOU WILL BE PLAYING FROM WHEN YOU REGISTER.  IF NO TEE IS SELECTED THE DEFAULT WILL BE THE TOURNAMENT TEES

PRIZES

  • There will be prizes for Gross and Net.

  • Each team can only win one prize.

  • Prize amounts and number of places paid will be determined by the number of participants.

  • All prizes will be paid in HMGC Pro Shop credit

 

ENTRY FEE and REGISTRATION

  • $25 per person for MGA member.  

  • Golf fees are separate and not included in tournament entry fee.

  • Registration will be done through the MGA website.  Total field must be divisible by 4

  • When you register please indicate which tees you will be playing from.  If you do not select a tee the automatic default will be the Tournament tees. There will be no changes made after the close of registration. 

  • You must have an established GHIN handicap.

  • Registration closes 8 PM Sunday April 4, 2021 at 8PM

  • Cancellations after the close of entry will result in a $25 charge to your HMGC account.
